Ordered 25 mins in advance on the app for pickup. Got there at the “estimated” pick up time. There was a line of people in the store so I was keen that we ordered in advance.. there’s even a sign that pops up on the screen “Order on our app and skip the queue”.. not so much. The people in the line ordered and received their food before we did. Our food came out 15 minutes later than expected on the app. When we received the food the chips were entirely cold, so they were DEFINITELY ready at the “estimated” pick up time. I respect that the time is estimated and not an exact, but when given 25 mins notice through the app, 15 minutes longer is a bit ridiculous. Not one staff member attempted to speak to us or greeted us as we waited for 15 mins. Not so much as a smile. Very disappointing. “Taco” came as slop in a bowl.

3rd time I’ve been there and I think the last. Food seems to always come out cold, chips cold and I didn’t get any cutlery or napkins with my meal so had to drive back around and and sit in the que again. For the price of the meals you’d think they could do better.

Stopped going here for a while after taco shells were over seasoned. Regret going back tonight so that’s me done. Ordered soft tacos order 461. Dreadful. Hardly any filling and literally 3 tiny pieces of chicken. This store consistently under performs for my orders. Erina is fantastic, Port Macquarie is much better. Will never be back. On a positive. The service from the order taker was great, and it’s a reasonably good store. Shame.

We stopped in for dinner while driving to Sydney. The highlight for us (besides the food!) was listening to the staff sing while they were working. It was so refreshing to see staff who were working hard and enjoying themselves, while at the same time bringing joy to customers. You guys rock!

Went gyg for the first time ever and my order was completely wrong, ordered 2 hard shell tacos and 1 soft shell with chicken and got 90% lettuce on 3 soft shell tacos, then went the next day and got a burrito with my colleagues and they both of them got no guacamole and the order was also wrong and I had to ask for the chips I ordered. My burrito is the most bland thing ever, could’ve eaten air and been more satisfied.

My daughter and I went through the drive through about a week ago we both ordered nacho fries, the amount of seasoning on the bottom made them completely inedible to the point my daughter was close to throwing up. The staff were rude and continued their private conversation while we sat and waited. I did contact management the next day he wasn’t really interested in what I had to say and I was barely offered an apology! What would have been nice was if he at least offered me a refund on out awful meals. We eat at GyG a lot but never the Heatherbrae store. We won’t be going back and have warned others! Pick up your game

Worst GYG! Come here in multiple occasions over the past few years, never had a good experience. Portion size and customer service need a significant improvement. Have been across Australia attending this Mexican restaurant and this is the worst BY FAR. My recommendation is to bypass GYG and head to heatherbrae pie’s.
