Authentic Mexican!!! Enchilada with slow cooked beef , so tender and tasty, very generous sides , great price and very friendly and efficient service! Also have a variety of hot sauces to put on your plate and to buy.

Overall I’d say it was okay. Staff were very friendly and the decorations were nice but the food was pretty average. There was no real zest anywhere (lime nowhere to be seen) and no freshness. No colour, fragrance or explosion of flavour that you typically associate with Mexican food. They seem to have a premade salsa that’s very cold (batch prepared way way ahead of time probably) and used across all the dishes so essentially everything kind of tastes the same. I also think $20 for two average tacos is a bit much.

Our go to western style Mexican restaurant in the Northcote-Thornbury-Preston region. The spinach and garlic enchilada with a side of house made corn chips is a really delicious surprise. The lemon or ginger infused margaritas the best around, and the resident cat is as cool as they get. If you enjoy a Melbourne share house vibe on one of the most enjoyable streets in the city then this restaurant is a great place to meet.
