Had a booking for 14, table wasn’t set up with adequate napkins, cutlery or menus. Were given cupcakes to put in the kitchen until time to serve and they tipped them ruining all the icing. When approached just said “sorry”, didn’t even have the accountability to say it to us first and offer any sort of compensation ($84 worth of cupcakes too). Food was tasty but bit overpriced, multiple people at our table not into the seasoning on the chips and didn’t finish them. Don’t go here for any sort of occasion.

Grill’d at Norwood is a great and proximal place to have a nice bite! I’ve found this particular location is consistent with their quality and always has friendly, welcoming staff. The chips are crunchy and sufficiently seasoned, the spicy mayo is sweet and tangy, and the chicken burgers are crunchy, flavoursome and a perfect balance of ingredients. Make sure you download their app and claim your rewards (free drink if you’re a student)! Will always be my favourite local burger joint – their burgers always feel more genuine and clean.

Used to be 5/5, but not anymore. I understand they are busy and cannot control that aspect. But something has to change with the way the staff take out food. Chips get prepared in one bunch and get left under the heat lamp until the burger is ready. So when you get the chips they are super cold. Same thing with the burgers, they wait until all the burgers are ready before taking out the order so for the last few times my burger has been cold. I gave it a few chances thinking it was a once off but it seems to be the norm.

As you can see both buns were burnt which made for difficulty in keeping the burger together. First mouthful had the top of it falling everywhere. The chips were served with far too much salt. While the service was appreciated we had barely finished our last mouthful when the offer to take our plates was given. It wasn’t busy and we were still eating our chips. The plates could have stayed til we finished our full course. Tables were clean and the staff were friendly.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. I asked for the no bun option which is meant to be wrapped in lettuce, but instead, I received a bunch of ingredients thrown into a box. No lettuce at all. Not even any utensils to potentially eat it with. Just this… ✨mess✨

This was average. We had the Wagyu burger, and it was soaked in sauce – it was more like sauce with a burger. Service was good, friendly and helpful. No cutlery provided, and no salt or pepper. Good atmosphere. Lots of families there.
