More hits than misses for me, unfortunately. As others have noted, the snacks were great (parfait in particular). Beyond that, I found some things a little under seasoned and nothing stood out as a much order. Perhaps it was the cut (striploin), but our steak didn’t have the char I was expecting, given the focus of the restaurant.

Came highly recommended- we were sat at a great table looking over the fires. So impressed from when we arrived. Sam who greeted us took the time to learn a little about our day which he then passed onto other staff members who continued the conversation with us. The food was absolutely incredible, the service didn’t falter from start to finish and obviously the wine was delicious. The sommelier was very generous with his time. We were able to sit by the outdoor fire with a glass of port after our meal and multiple staff members took the time to come and have a chat. We won’t forget such a special night!
