Went and got a small chips that were soggy, 3 potatoes scallops that were burnt and tasted horrible and got a 2L Crush passion only to find the Best Before date was 7months ago. Will not be going back. They would not even pick up their phone when trying too call them

Sometimes food can be emotional, my experience at Goulburn take away got to me. The staff and the owner (Paul) were lovely, i heard they make everything from scratch from the fish cutlets to the burger patties. I got the plain Aussie burger (not the lot) and chips, wow so so good. The chips were nice and fat and crispy but it was the burger which blew me away, it took me straight down memory lane to burgers I had years ago. I had forgotten how good an Aussie burger with salad, beetroot and bbq sauce can be, no brioche rolls, no medium rare patties just honest burgers done really well. Thanks Paul and everyone for such a wonderful experience.

I really wanted to love this place, I gave it two chances and it was only worse the second time. First time food was overcooked and oily. I asked for chicken salt and could barely taste it. I also bought a bottle of drink and it was flat and tasted strange, I checked the use by and it was almost a year out. The second visit i had bones in most of my fish cocktails and the food was once again oily and overcooked. Sadly I do not recommend this place as of right now.

The takeaway shop you loved as a kid! Just perfect. Great service, big portions. I’ve pounded a fair few burgers in my life and this place makes one of the best Aussie Burgers you can get. Old school milkshake. Scallops. Chicken salt. Just love.

Do not get coffee or kids hot chocolates from here! Hot chocolates were so hot scolded my daughter. Coffee tasted so awful, like bad plunger coffee. Learn how to froth milk and how to present coffee. I know your a takeaway but you are clearly advertising you make coffee… I wouldn’t if I was you.

Best fish n chips i have had in a while, im always a little suss about fish n chip shops that arent by the sea, but this shop reminds me of a shop i went to as a child, id say old school fish n chips delicious. The owner is a legend, he must be 80yrs old and still on the fryer, making burgers the whole works. I highly recommend them.

Great clean place to sit in an old fashioned booth. Hamburgers served in the old fashioned way,big and plenty of it. The meat patty was so juicy and delicious. Well worth getting of the freeway for the food and old time town of Goulburn.
