Wow … what an experience. We found it wandering around with Google. Without Google, you would never find the shop. It was to open at 5:30, but opened at 5:00 pm. People came from everywhere when the door opened. It’s a classic local fish shop that the ‘in the know’ people seem to use.

Nice and friendly staff, obviously do good work with locals with a steady flow coming through. Chips were nice and the fish although a bit greasy, need to be drained more for my liking. The other bits and pieces were quite a let down, could hardly taste the squid in amongst the batter, the scallop (ordered 2, only got 1) were just mass produced rubbish and muscle barely ok.

So happy we found this hidden gem on google maps! Big portions & very yummy food (we had the prawn snack box & seafood basket), good prices, and the tartare sauce was delicious. Thank you, and if we ever pass through again, we’ll make sure to come back!
