I recently visited Gentlemen George’s and had a decent experience. While the overall quality was good and the service was friendly and attentive the burger itself were alright. The GG burger standing out among the options. The flavors were satisfying, but I felt that something was missing to make it truly outstanding. My mates ordered the open souvlaki and was thorough disappointed. The chicken was simply tenderloins and the salad was basic lettuce and sliced red onion with a bland garlic sauce. All of them who ordered this dish regretted not choosing something else. Overall, it’s a solid place to grab a burger, but probably avoid other dishes and don’t expect to be blown away.

Tried the GG burger, it was perfect taste, the beef is very juice and perfect. However the chips were really oily which made me feel a bit unwell after a while (nothing serious). Their aioli sauce should have been much better. It the chips were good it would have been 4 start or maybe 5

My partner and I came here, we walked in was taken straight to our tables the waiter gave us the menu and then with in one min came back asking did we want to order? I said just few moment I need to read the menu and unwind a little bit. Two mins later a different waiter came over asking did we want to order! I looked at my partner and said there trying to rush us we just walked into the got dam place! Then 5 mins goes by I tried waving over the waiter but then they ignored us. We finally ordered the sliders and fish tacos they both where nice, we ordered the wings because we where still hungry. They where to spicy if you wanting to come for a date I would recommend this place. They rush you

What an absolute awesome place to visit. This is exactly what we need on St Kilda Rd. A great range of beers and an even better selection of burgers. The sides are all crazy good quality and we were thoroughly impressed. These guys have held the venue for 30 years and have had to pivot because of covid… And they done a sensational job. Come in and try them out and you’ll definitely be impressed. We’ll be coming back for sure.
