The halloumi was very salty. The salt and pepper squid didn’t taste as good as frozen shop food. The menu is disappointing and we didn’t appreciate an additional $3 if you want sauce on your steak. Very overpriced for a club and for sub standard food.

Falafel panini comprised a dry leather like bun, three dry deep fried falafel, three slices of soft powdery tasteless tomato, purple cabbage with aioli and three thin zucchini pickles. I couldn’t bite into the bread because it was so hard. I did not enjoy my meal. Server took my plate and didn’t enquire about how my barely-touched meal was.

We come from Canberra but came up to Springwood to see family. When it was just the bistro it was quite underwhelming, but this new adaption “gather” is actually great. The man who served us was lovely and “Zofia” I think her name was was very professional when we had a small feedback about the food (two small things missing). The food was actually really nice and good portion size and reasonable prices. The churro dessert was great and they were busy but service was quick.

Food was not as promised! The tabouli was nonexistent considering it had no tomato or parsley. Yes, it was just very bland chick peas. The kofta was dry, overcooked & too spicy. None of us could eat it. Such a shame considering we all love Middle Eastern cuisine. To top it off our waitress was rude & dismissive. Would not hurry to return especially if our attending waitress is still employed here.
