Best Dosa in Tasmania! Had one meal that we didn’t enjoy as much but they were happy to replace it with a different one at no extra cost. Definitely will return

We have come here for tourism from India. We tried paneer butter masala, Garlic naan and Safron rice. Food was good and quantity was sufficient. Paneer butter masala was having little extra tomato puree making it little sour but was good.

Possibly the worst Indian experience in Hobart. Very disappointed with the meal, requests were not listened to and meal was basically inedible. Owners should try dining at Annapurna or Mother India and compare their offerings, so many things for them to improve upon.

My partner and I dined-in here on a Saturday night. I must say: huge compliments to the chefs! Every dish we had was just so perfectly cooked and seasoned.

The flavors at Ganges Hobart left us speechless! The Chicken 65 was a delicious start, and the Biryani was an absolute showstopper. Veg Pakora and Drums of Heaven were equally delightful. Impeccable service added to the fantastic experience.

Well, overall to all those who follow me, the food is alright , I wont say authentic but yes nearly there and my reason is the price which they charge, we as customer deserve some quality and quantity. Example I ordered somosa chat which is $15 and the only extra on the chat was a couple.of table spoons of yoghurt, a little chole and 2 spoons of chutney , so they are charging $8 for something which does not even make a complete dish with flovour.

I recently ordered Idly Sambar on DoorDash ,I must say it is amazing this is not my first time ordering with them. They never disappointed me with their food. Ganges Indian by Nature is a must visit place.

Had goat curry takeaway this week. Only 3 pieces of tiny meat and mostly big bones in gravy. Called the restaurant and told them about my disappointment. The staff said that she was sorry and to collect free goat curry next day. This time there was lots of little tiny bones in gravy and no meat. When I called the restaurant, the staff was very rude and tried to make excuses

Had to wait over an hour for one curry and naan for dine in after they only had two other tables in the restaurant that already had their food. I asked for a refund and they tried to beg me to stay coming up with excuses why it was taking so long. I only ordered off the menu because the only curry I could eat in their bain marie was dried up and I refused to order that plus the waitress said they could cook me something to order.

Tried a change of taste in Hobart. With concession for distant Indian cuisine, was disappointed. Expensive (expected in far-off Hobart) and far from fine dining experience. Ok for a one time visit.
