This place is really dirty ewww…… and the food tastes so bad. The rim of take away bowls is full of dusts…. I can’t eat anymore when I notice it.

Got lunch take away here, wasn’t happy that the lady charged me full price and said that is a bigger portion while I just wanted lunch special. The noodle was ok noodle bar standard, but the green curry is really bad, tastes like gravy.

Should have read the other reviews more thoroughly, but then also who would think that a place named after a fresh delicious dish would manage to serve you a horrible, unrecognizable version of it? It’s like a bad joke, but they dont know what a Gado gado even is… Got a bunch of boiled broc, zucchini and carrot junks, a bit of tempeh hidden under some weird red peanutless indian-fast-food-style sauce. No egg, no crackers, nothing fresh, no peanuts in the sauce. Very disappointed, this has NOTHING to do with indonesian cuisine. Returned it after on bite (have never ever sent a dish back before). On the upside, they immediately gave me my money back without any discussion. Guess they might be used to it.

Can’t be recommended. Poor service, pretty high prices, and the food is… ok, I guess. Much better options literally 20 seconds away.

Hands down the best nasi goreng fried rice. Tastes like smoked bbq. And number 16 on the menu, the char kway teow chicken are two of my absolute favorites. Never failed with them. Give them a try, thank me later. You’re welcome !

Gado Gado – recognised as one of the five national dishes of Indonesia. You would think that having a Gado Gado in a place called ‘Gado Gado Noodle Bar’ would be a safe bet then. Or at least that the Chef prides himself on making that particular dish his finest. Unfortunately what we had today can only be described as an insult to Indonesian cooking.

Eat here regularly, ordered my fav lemongrass pork. Iv’e had this meal so many times and it’s amazing. Today was a total disaster, tasted nothing like the usual, pork was so tough, the rice was soaked in some sort of strange sauce. Called to complain, no offer to replace the meals, no apology. Super disappointing. Meal went in the bin.

My husband and I had the most amazing selection of the menu tonight and we dined in BYO with a bttl of wine and no corkage ! The service from Ha is always amazing and so personal we absolutely adore her. She suggested the kangaroo skewers with peanut sauce, and the freshly made curry puffs both amazing and authentic. Mains we had the combo noodles, sizzling Mongolian beef and with a side serve of rice. You will not find fresher, tastier food on the south side of Brisbane. Absolutely we will be back, Highly recommend this beautiful family business!
