Rarely, if ever, do I post a negative review but in this instance I have to. My wife and really liked Fu Manchu Oriental but last night’s experience, the service and especially the timing (!) left a huge dent with us and it will take a long time for us to return.

Cannot flaw one thing! We had the lychee Martini, amazing! We had the bulgogi beef bao buns and lobster bao buns, absolutely out of this world! Then the prawn dumpings yum! Nasi goreng yum! and the loaded wagu beef dumpling were the best by far! YUM YUM YUM

Waiter was rude to my friend when he didn’t order any food, the food the rest of us order took ages to arrive, was overcooked, lacked taste and most of the food was cold when it eventually arrived. Never did the staff apologize for the long waiting time or even ask how we enjoyed the food, probably because they new how bad and overpriced it was.

Have been here twice now. Food and service is amazing. Great cold beers on tap. Lisa the Manager is awesome constantly checking on our table asking if we need anything. The owner Zuraya is very hospitable overseeing the customers. Highly recommend if you want something different with a bit of class.

We went here for a wedding anniversary lunch on a Friday. I think we were the only booking so they did not really care. We did as it was our anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere nice so we were spoilt a bit. They ask when you book if it is an occasion and several event options come up on the drop down list so I put wedding anniversary. This was never mentioned when we arrived or at any time were we congratulated on our wedding anniversary. The lady serving us was pleasant but busy with her bloke and eating her own lunch. I had to leave by 2 pm ( our booking was midday) as I care for my mum and she is home from respite at 2.30. We ordered me a dessert at 1.15 and it still not had arrived by 1.55 so I got up to leave. It then arrived! The waitress had been eating so she waited to finish her meal before delivering mine. Anyway the food is good.
