I can see where the other reviewers are coming from. There’s massive pillars in the restaurant and the waitress and waiters are often not looking around. table was a little dirty and the glass of water was empty for most of the meal after the first fill. Food was nice but about market rate, nothing to come to Gold Coast especially for. Service was relatively quick once you got their attention and the baked Alaska was very cool

Moreton bay bug gnocchi was superb! The service was amazing and the food portions were great! The food is cooked on the flame grill with an open viewing. We will definitely return! Thank you for a great night

Amazing Wagyu rump steak, probably best I’ve ever had anywhere. General Atmos wouldn’t give you the idea how good the food is. Kind of a warehouse style dining room with exposed ducting etc. but plenty of atmosphere in the open kitchen and everything on the plate is delicious. I’m not big on horseradish but would eat their’s by itself as well as with their steak and house jus. Excellent service. Thanks .

We had the tasting experience, we really enjoyed the food although struggled to finish it all as we wanted to save room for the Bombe Alaska which we also shared and well worth it. The service was phenomenal considering the lack of staff. I take my hat off to all of them especially the young lady at front of house for having to work under extreme conditions but never once crumbled, well done. We look forward to returning again to try one of the steaks. All the food smelt, tasted & looked so good. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Our little party of three dined here on a quiet evening and we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the warm ambiance and friendly staff. The slow cooked lamb sharing plate was divine. The lamb, accompanied with gravy and a pesto style sauce, fell off the bone and melted in the mouth. The truffle potato mash was an excellent accompaniment and the zucchini chips with aioli were just scrumptious and I’d go back just for a big plate of these on there own. No cocktails served in the restaurant but available in the adjoining bar. Our experience was great and we look forward to going back sometime.

Unfortunately a very underwhelming meal. For grade 5 wagyu, I found mine less marbled and more gristle filled. It definitely wasn’t the consistency I expected for what had been typed up on the menu. The staff also were slow. Both to seat me and to serve. I’m not sure if the staff were in a bad mood but some staff were particularly short, without waiting for me to finish what I was saying before walking away.

Went there with the family for dinner. Starters came out fairly fast. They were good. However, mains took well over an hour to arrive after starters. One of our steaks arrived rare. We felt the service was quite poor and we had to send it back. Another table (that arrived after we did) received all their food before us. They seemed to have no problem making their food before ours.

One of the worst experiences I have had in a restaurant in my whole like (we frequent restaurants). We picked this restaurant for our one year anniversary at the end of July 2023 because it had good reviews and the menu looked good. To start, I ordered a Pepsi and it took 45 minutes just to get it, after asking a couple times for it. It took at least another 45 minutes to get our food. We were about to walk out and just grab McDonald’s but then the food showed up. Food was not bad, steak was a little on the colder side. After our dinner, they charged for full price knowing what a terrible experience it had been, even acknowledging that it was a terrible night. I would highly recommend not going to this restaurant.
