Nestled in the heart of Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, Fox In The Chamber is so much more than just a café! Housed in the iconic old Council Chamber building on High Street, Woodend, we have created a space where locals feel at home and visitors feel welcome. Working hard to support the local community, we have a crew of locals who are truly passionate about hospitality and service. Seasonal produce is sourced locally and FITC proudly works alongside producers and supply chain to minimise waste and encourage sustainability. Serving some of the regions best specialty coffee and serving single origin, filter and house blends.

Good coffee (I had 2!). Friendly staff. Really generous with the ham in the ham and cheese croissant. The peanut butter and jelly French toast had lots of berries but not enough peanut butter for my liking. I bought a take away coffee from “fox in the chamber” the ambience and the service was so good that decided to sit down, take my time and enjoy the atmosphere of a typical Melbourne coffee shops or at least that is what I call it. I was very surprised how many tables are inside. Best place on a cold morning in Woodend. The food and drinks looked delicious as they were being served to other tables as we waited for our drinks and pastries. Which were delicious and fresh. No photo as we eat it and couldn’t stop. We plan to go back for a toasted sandwich.
