Authentic Indian food. Good mix of North and south Indian dishes. Some of the dishes were a bit chilly, not for people who are not used to hot Indian food. We were 6 people and ordered andhra chicken, fish curry, mushrooms, vangi, sopu wadi, sevai, kulfi, roti, rice and few starters. Visit if you like Indian gravy dishes.

We had an impromptu dinner here on Sunday and I’m so glad we did! Service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Every dish is carefully thought out and you could taste the different spice blends – each unique to the dish. I highly recommend the Prawn Koliwada – they were crispy and the flavour kept us going back for more. I also recommend getting their mint chutney which paired beautifully with the Sesame Paneer Tikka and the smoked cheese and chili naan. Their cocktails are also creative and well-balanced. Matthew gave us some great recommendations – I loved the Khari Baoli Mojito and my partner really enjoyed his Jamun Club. Being from India, my partner said the Jamun Club reminded him of the fruit that they would eat growing up. They also had a great play list in the background which suited the decor and vibe of the place. Definitely looking forward to another meal here in the future!

We visited Foreign return for our anniversary celebration. The restaurant is so beautiful, aesthetically pleasing. We had the chef menu and the starters were absolutely the best. The main course however was not that great, probably should have gone with the vegetarian menu. Rasmalai was absolutely delicious and the cocktails too.

This place gets everything right! Mouth watering food, delicious cocktails, attentive service and fantastic atmosphere. We loved all the food, especially the “lost recipes”, dishes from remote Indian towns and villages. Our favourite was the lamb shank (tribal recipe) which tasted like nothing we have ever tried before. This was the first time I had Indian cocktails and I was blown away. Every dish and drink was unique and proved that Indian cuisine is so much more exciting than what we are used to in typical Indian restaurants. Absolutely worth the money!
