We are holidays around here for a week and we haven’t been able to locate a great seafood shop until now. Wow! The meals were outstanding in terms of freshness and price wise. We ordered a dozen oysters, one grilled fish and salad and one battered fish with chips. Beautiful fresh taste. Great staff, quick and efficient. We highly recommend a visit when you are in town.

Food hygiene here is non existent, watched salads being picked up with bare hand & placed onto orders, also picked up box and other food without washing hands or using gloves or utensils. Disgusting!

Oyster Kirkpatrick were yum and chips were crispy, but salad was a bit average as well as a soggy potato scallop. But would recommend taking it to Pat Morton lookout at sunset for dinner with a view

Such a disappointing experience. We thought we would give it another chance this weekend but still not one positive to speak of. We chose hoki as the pieces in the display looked good. The fish we received was not the fish from that display. Those pieces were all still there after our meal was prepared. The fish was dry and rubbery the chips were at best average. There is a fish and chip shop just up the street which is lovely. The only reason we didn’t eat there is that they close between 2 and 5pm . Do yourself a favour and visit them instead of this place.

My fish burger wasn’t bad, simple battered fish with a bit of salad and tartare, but my friend’s calamari and chips was pretty underwhelming. The calamari was bland, and the chips were soggy.

Staff and owner very friendly. My husband went back on three occasions for the barramundi and raves about it…I had the crumbed hoki and it was also lovely. Steve said thank you for the t-shirt. See you next time we are up here.
