Wonderful little chippy in Mt Evelyn. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is fresh and plentiful. Great value for money. (Chippy rating 8/10). Only downside is no malt vinegar. IMHO choose regular salt instead of chicken salt.

I have tried fish and chips in many places and this place is one of my favourites. The fish is generous and fresh and the chips are golden, fluffy and crispy. The oil tastes fresh and this is evidenced by the light golden finish. I have several fish and chip places closer to me but I’ll always travel the extra distance to go to Fish Palace. (My neighbour does the same).
