Have been a repeat customer for many years and recently heard the business changed hands which sometimes means the experience may have changed too. Read some of the latest reviews as I haven’t eaten here in a while and after reading some of the reviews, I was a little apprehensive. After having just finished my meal I felt compelled to write a review myself. Firstly, the staff were very polite when taking my order and when serving me at the counter. The food, excellent!! The fish was good and decent sized portions, the enormous amount of chips were tasty and fresh. Calamari and potato scallops both enjoyable too and my go-to favourite, the Holy Cow Burger, was just as good as it always has been. Lettice and tomato was fresh and crispy, beef patty cooked to perfection and the aoli sauce tasted exactly the same. Just wanted to say to the new owners, to keep up the good work. You have satisfied myself and my family by producing quality food even though you were quite busy the night we came in (Origin night). All the best with the new business.

Has new owners, a name changed and the decor has been updated. They serve the best crunchy chips. Excellent milkshakes too. Fish was really fresh.

i noticed that there was new owners and i can say that the food quality had decreased significantly. The serving size is rather disappointing, my son had a bad reaction to your fish that did not even taste fresh. If i were able to rate 0 stars for this shop i would, highly would not recommend to any families, friends, or just people in general.

Chips were soggy, tasted like they were quite old. The ones that weren’t soggy were stale. Wrong salt. Wrong burger. Forgot the gravy.

Awesome Iunch guys, fish was was cooked perfectly, calamari was nice and tender, chips were crispy and delicious. Keep up the good work guys, will definitely be back!!!

Just paid $17 for this absolutely tiny piece of way over cooked fish. As a business you must know its a rip off. Also ordered the chicken burger with a piece of chicken half the size of the bun you put it in. Absolutely ridiculous.

I come here atlest once a week. The last 3 weeks, must say the quality has shifted south. Who reheats chips? Or what causes them to be overly brown, hard and tasteless? While the patato cakes are freshly made…little rant but please during these times I like to stay local.

That was one of the best fish places before new owners …today we had a battered burrumundy a crumbed snapper and chips ..the rating one star is for the Snapper as the burrumundy was not adable ..a soggy mess and the chips dried up I normally type only very good ratings but this is beyond believe.. terrible

Chips were chewy and soggy, paid $15 for a very small piece of fish. The batter is horrible definitely needs a new mix was also very oily. Oil needs to be changed and cleaned daily!! Was very disappointed as I came here for a holiday from WA. We paid $80 for our order just to be disappointed. Business needs to look into fixing these issues.
