*edit – not at all happy tonight. We ordered the same thing as usual, one battered fish and chips and one grilled fish and chips. When we got home I found about a quarter of my chips to be inedible. I tossed them straight in the bin. I’ve attached a pic of a few more I found while eating. My partner opened his to find no chips. We rang the store and the girl said both servings were in with the battered fish to save on containers. This gave us about 8 chips each. The grilled fish container would have easily fit the chips also. We were told if we want the chips to be in with each fish we need to ask next time. My partner said we will not be back. They did not seem to care. The fish was still nice. *

Had flake and chips. Have to make sure you ask for hot chips as they were cold. Saw the lady out back handling the flake with bare hands. No gloves. Will definitely give this place a miss.

Ordered a piece of fish and when it arrived it was about 4 cm round. As a result we then had to order more bite size pieces of fish in order to actually get a meal. By which time the original order of chips were soggy and cold. How about you be honest and let people know what they are about to order wouldn’t even be considered a snack when it is ordered. The fish was also so thin all that could be tasted were the crumbs surrounding it.

Our pack for 2 was cooked perfect. Gravy delicious. I’m from sunny coast but I’ll be returning to this little gem. The owner was helpful when selecting fish and HONEST about where the fish is from (unlike other fish and chips nearby) Can’t recommend this place more. Keep it up
