Wow. This place. One of the best degustation menus I’ve ever experienced- and I’ve eaten in many Michelin star restaurants. What makes this so good is the pacing of dishes and the curation. You leave completely satiated but not full to the brim and feeling like you need to lie down. Every single dish was spectacular. I also opted in for the local truffles – and was advised to have on the duck risotto. Wow. A party in my mouth. The wine suggestions were also outstanding. And the service. So down to earth and authentic – and exceptional. I could not fault this experience and will be dreaming of my return. Thank you so much team Fico!!!!!

Came to Hobart for Fico and Mona, the service here is by far the stand out from my experience dining. All the courses were prompt and they had even adjusted the dessert to accomodate the cheese florets. The Panna Cotta and the Venison are something I could eat everyday for the rest of my life. I was slightly disappointed by the Pasta itself but everything else was incredible. Highly recommend trying to secure a table at Fico when you’re in Hobart.

The photos don’t really do Fico any justice. Everything about this place was amazing. The food, service, drinks and atmosphere were all wonderful. If I’m ever back in Hobart again I will definitely be going back here to see what else they have created. Each dish was packed full of flavours and absolutely delicious. Huge shout out to the wait staff, they did a fantastic job as well.

Wow!! Definitely one to eat at if in Hobart. The food and wine pairing degustation is worth doing. Be sure to book in advance. Non-pretentious restaurant with fantastic food and service. The wine pairings were excellent and push your boundaries a bit but without being over the top. Really well done!! Highly recommend!!

There are so many great restaurants in Hobart but Fico is up there with the best. Great setting, awesome food with some super interesting flavours and unexpected concoctions. Highly recommend for an upmarket (including price) restaurant experience.

A great deal of effort and ambition went into each course, however the flavours didn’t complement one another or flow, resulting in an incoherent experience. Unfortunately the service was also extremely unwelcoming which dampened what should have been a celebratory lunch.
