Had a good meal at Campbelltown Catholic Club – Embers. My wife had the Salmon (cooked great but food could have been warmer) I had the fried chicken with chip and slaw. Chicken was great, chips were ok.

The meals were average at best. Both meals were served on a cold plate which quickly chilled the meals. Neither meal reflected the menu description. Octopus was over cooked and tough. Potato was cold, unseasoned and very bland. Caper dressing was non existant. The lamb was medium rare as ordered but cold and under seasoned. Corn served was not as described in menu (creamed) but served in thin strips char grilled , very tough and awkward to eat. Capsicum strips average with limited flavour. Very disappointing. Will not return any time soon

Had the BBQ platter. Very disappointing, ribs were dry and cold, and there was no sauce. The burnt ends were 4 bits of brisket, just cut off the main piece and no sauce on them either. The boneless chicken was the only flavour on the board. Definitely not worth the money.

One of the best cheese pizza we ever had. Dough was cooked perfectly, crispy but still fluffy. Tried the corn ribs too which was sweet and buttery… Delicious! Service was friendly and helpful at the bar. Thank you!

We booked in early at 7pm, was greeted with a dirty table. Great start.. Had drinks for a hour at the table then went to order, only to be told long long food waits, no orange juice ran out and to be told nothing comes with the overpriced mains at all- salmon is just salmon comes with chips- nope can’t add vegetables. Similar story with rest of main meals. Seriously Tables were dirty, packed in like sardines, nothing pleasant about it at all. We ended up walking out and eating in the bistro. Something we definitely didn’t want to do. Very very disappointed in our experience at Embers. Choose somewhere else in the club to eat. We won’t be back.

My daughter and I ordered the half rack of ribs with coleslaw and dinner rolls, have to say they were the worst ribs we have ever had, cold & so tough that it was hard to get the meat off the bone. Very disappointing as they were not the cheapest, lucky we ordered a side of fries!
