Delicious charcoal chicken that, along with tabbouleh, baba ganoush, chips, and pickles, fed three adults with leftovers remaining. My only quibble is that the pickles (not sure what they are, but the pink ones are probably beetroot and the others are some root vegetable) are incredibly salty. I asked my friends who love this place if that’s how they usually are, and apparently it is. We got takeaway. The restaurant itself is really cute, lots of seating. Lots of fake plants, but cool vibe, and whoever designed their witty branding did a good job.

What a huge huge disappointment I was tolled this place had great food so I ordered a delivery for the first time and was really looking forward to it. When the food arrived and it was stone cold the chicken has a nice flavour but again stone cold and the chip were under cooked at least the can of PEPSI was perfect. I recently went to El Jannah in Penrith and I have to say, it wasn’t what I expected. Despite specifically asking for chicken breasts, they gave me legs and wings instead. It was a letdown, especially considering the high price of $60. I would have appreciated it if they had either given me what I asked for or let me know beforehand that they didn’t have chicken breasts available.

El Jannah Penrith – what a disgrace. You have a fancy new fit out but clearly your mind is on money and not on quality. I purchased a bag of bread (usually contains 6 rounds)…. When I got home I found the bag was opened with 4 rounds and another piece that looked like it went through a washing machine…. How grubby! Most likely someone’s dirty fingers have been all over this! And because I paid with cash and didn’t keep my receipt (because who would keep a receipt for bread?!?)… the ‘customer service’ at the HQ didn’t want to know about it. That’s ok, because now everyone who reads this will know about it and you can be certain that you’ve lost at least one customer now.

The $34.90 whole chicken meal was definitely worth the money. Can easily feed 3 adults. The garlic sauce in tabouli was delicious and very punching flavour. I will definitely go again and can’t wait to try other items.
