Having had an average experience at another high starred local restaurant I was really hoping to have a good experience and thankfully it surpassed my expectations! Fantastic service from the hostess from beginning to end. Wonderful food. Particularly the steak. BYO from the bottle shop next door. Great aesthetic inside and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Mum and I went here today. Geesh a role model for Australian restaurants. Ross smiling face as we entered, and his wife was positively colourful with Cheshire cat smile. Fantastic food!!! The best Duck liver parfait ever had!! Eye fillets and Duck Confit are sooo juicy and delicious!! Apple Tart and chacolate mousse make a perfect ending. I’ll give 100 of 10!!!

We came for lunch at this eccentric, cosy restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it!! The food is as lovely as the service. I particularly liked the apple tart which was presented in an interesting and attractive tower with lovely toasted edges. Must be the best place on the mountain 🙂 Lovely tea selection too.

What a lovely little place. The ambience and decor is Quaintly chic with a touch of eccentricity, music play list just to my liking. The food was excellent, the lovely lady maître d was welcoming and friendly.

Having lunch for our anniversary, this place is a good as you can get. Friendly casual service, and food to perfection. Ross’s and Lyn’s reputation is very underrated. Well worth a visit.

The food was excellent, the service was very personal and engaging if slightly slow at times, though this made for a lovely extended lunch. Beef check was melt in your mouth tender, pea puree was delicious as was the Paris mash. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The menu changes weekly I think depending on what produce is best available, they will send you an up to date menu on request.
