Had lunch there today it was busy as heaps of people lucky we got there early if you want a good table with a view you need to book. The view is unreal the beers and wine are cold and sensibly priced the food tastes good plenty of parking. Well worth the trip.

This pub is, shall we say, well worn. A little rough around the edges, but that seems to add to its atmosphere. A fantastic location perched atop the headland commanding spectacular views across a number of islands.

Beautiful location – could do so much more to make this a “go to” destination in Mackay. Only coeliac friendly option is Garlic prawns, but if staff were more interested I’m sure there could be more options. Bar service excellent. Girl taking food orders 1 star

Came here for dinner while visiting family, great venue, nice view of the islands. Our meals were nice, I had the steak sandwich. If you would like a coffee after 6pm you may be lucky to get one if the machine hasn’t been ‘cleaned’. And before you order your slice of cake, do make sure it’s not frozen. Other than that, the place has a quaint 80’s appeal to it with an amazing view and friendly staff.
