I decided to go for a drive down to the coast yesterday on the public holiday with my mum while the weather is still nice. We ordered a half chicken and medium chips and we were told the wait would be 15 minutes for the chicken to be cooked. That wait was worth it. The chicken was cooked perfectly and falling off of the bone and it had a nice Smokey taste from the charcoal just how I would expect. The chips were also freshly cooked with our order and they were perfectly tasty as well. We will be back for more when we are in the area for sure.

While ordering (on a quiet day) I just made some small talk to be friendly with the owner. He shut down any conversation and then swore at me without provocation. Food is as good as you’d expect at a charcoal chicken shop but the service is as low as service gets.
