Continuing our love for food and delivering Sydneysiders with our famous yum cha and Chinese dining experience, East Phoenix takes the passion of Asian dining in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs to new heights. With over 20 years operating the best yum cha Chinese restaurants, we’re proud this is our 4th restaurant in the Phoenix Group. To make a booking, call us on 02 9662 2088. We take reservations for 6 or more guests. Please walk in, if less than 6 people. First come first serve. Please note booking need to be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Lunch yum Cha is an experience! The good trolleys come at a fast and furious pace and before you know it the lazy Susan is rammed full of dumpling goodness. We tried so many dumpling varieties – prawn, pork, mushroom – they were all good. The chill prawn dumplings were a stand out. Sweet and sour BBQ pork was sticky goodness and the duck was crispy.

The is a great family friendly venue, there was a bit of a wait to get in, but boy was it worth it! The food is to die for, generous portions and all super fresh. Lots and lots of variety and new flavours to try! The staff were all really friendly and it really felt like they were enjoying their job! My favourite was the sticky BBQ pork, it was the perfect mix of sweet and sour and crunchy, delicious. I would come back for a family lunch again in a heart beat.

I could not fault this place at all… The restaurant was clean, spacious and I loved its fit out… The service was outstanding n the food was delicious! Also the portions in which the food was served against its pricing was great value for money!!!

Food was great, with a nice variety. Service was fast. Quite spacious and not as hectic as some other Yum Cha venues. Parking downstairs was good. We went at 10.30am, so not sure how quick or easy it would be to get a table and parking, if we went at a peak time. Not the cheapest place to go, but worth it.
