Drift Kitchen opened its doors in December 2016 and we have since has developed into a popular neighbourhood cafe. We are open 7 days a week and once our take away cafe doors close you can get a drink as well as some delicious food at SKØL from 12 pm onwards. We aim to provide the local community with healthy and delicious meals from our dynamic kitchen. Whether it’s from our takeaway café or our sit-down breakfast menu, our food philosophy has always been about creating delicious and fresh food. Opening hours: Monday 6 am – 12:30 pm Tuesday 6 am – 12:30 pm Wednesday – Sunday 6:00 am – 2 pm Brunch Menu available 6:30 – 11:30 Lunch from 12pm – late at SKøL next door.

Nice place away from main Scarb area. Coffee was very good. Nice courtyard – same as Skol. Wasn’t clear if it was table service or not, it was quiet and still waited a while. Ended up ordering at the bar. Food was good but a bit on expensive side for what it was.

I didn’t realise but Drift Kitchen dine in is the same space as Skol! Beautiful interior, quick and friendly service – our meal and coffees came out within 10 minutes. Highly recommend the mushroom on toast and eggs Benny.

Great atmosphere and staffs. But there’s no special brekkie and lunch menu. It’s boring, even I order the most special foods but taste was okay. I disappoint a scrambled eggs, there’s not enough butter so it was’t soft and saltness was’t good enough. Even I believe this is the most common and basic menu but.. would’t come back here. But coffee was amazing, barista made a coffee very well – impressive !

Went for a sneaky breakfast. I was going to order the Spanish eggs, but not being a fan of beans I asked for it without. The lovely young girl serving us explained that the meal wouldn’t really be a meal without it and suggested poached eggs or eggs Benedict instead.

Lovely café in the backstreets of Scarborough. Not a large range of food available for lunch, mostly burgers. But the food was delicious and the service was attentive. My steak sandwich was scrumptious. We will return

Cute little cafe located close to the beach but far enough to be away from the crowds. Fairly easy to find Was a beautiful 27 degree day so we chose to sit in their outdoor backyard area under a large sail so it is shaded. Tried the burger- thick and juicy patty, not dry at all which went really well with the smoky BBQ flavor brisket. Chips were really tasty and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Pricing of breakfast items a little on the higher side compared to some other cafes in the area. Drift also does weekly beer specials- Tiger for $7 when we were there. Nice place to hang out, will be back to try their steak sandwich! Good coffee too!

Awesome old house conversion into a quant, stylish cafe. Really wonderful service and plenty of cosy spaces to find a seat. Coffee was great and the food was very tasty, although a little on the expensive side. But that is the only possible negative. Definitely worth another visit!
