What a great little place.. was gifted a voucher for my birthday and they did not disappoint .. food exceptional, be warned very large portions. Their taco board is most definitely good value. Been looking for good margaritas in the highlands since moving from Sydney nearly two years ago .. the best around. Get in early or book to get a spot.. and they offer takeaway too. Staff attentive but not invasive. Good work guys

Good Mexican joint on Bowral’s main street. Favourite was the pulled pork burrito bowl which was generous and delicious. Tried all the different tacos as well – definitely preferred the meat (pork/beef) tacos over the fish and veggie ones.

Dos Hombres deserves a bloody Michelin Star for the quality AND quantity of food they provide. My partner and I went here on a Tuesday which was Tacos and Tinnies night!! Which involved more food than any normal human should or could eat and a $3 imported Mexican beer (delicious btw). The food was the best Mexican I have had in my life. If I could offer any reccomendations to Dos Hombres future patrons it would be to wear loose clothing, and invite all your friends!

There are not enough superlatives to describe our experience here – it was beyond excellent. The meat was the best BBQ I’ve had this side of Texas (and believe me, I’ve looked). We had the taco platter for 2 and ceviche. The brisket and rump were amazing, and the burnt ends and beans was transcendent. Everything else was great as well. The margaritas were strong and well made, husband’s beer was cold, service was friendly. Lots of gluten free options. Will be a place we talk about fondly for a long time (and wished we lived closer to!).

Really tasty food, great combinations in the tacos. The specials board was also revelation that I’d thoroughly recommend. Probably the most surprising thing of our dinner for 6 was the price. For such a good quality feed the price of dinner and dessert was really good. Even though we don’t live nearby we will for sure go again when we are nearby

We haven’t left a review before, but we felt obligated to warn others about this place before they spend any money. Did we get food poisoning, no, well not yet anyway! The food was disappointing, overcooked and clearly reheated. However the real detraction was the service, we had a young waitress that acted like a pouting teenager, any request was too much effort. I’m not sure if there are any adults that run the business present during business hours, I would be very surprised if there was. Anyway, consider spending your money elsewhere.

Yummy! Fresh, fun and family friendly! The brisket burgers are really good as are the share snacks and sides! Did I mention they’re quick and brightened up our social distancing day today to have some fun food!
