Had a lovely breakfast here the day we were catching the ferry. They went out of their way to accommodate me with a GF meal. Can recommend the hemp flour pancakes (has a bit of a nutty flavour).

Great brekky before boarding the Spirit of Tasmania. Very friendly owner and staff. All you can eat is value for money at less than $15. The writings on the walls say everything.

I Ordered a 5 dollar serve of chips and she half filled it, when questioned literally said ‘I’m glad I don’t eat chips as they’re so expensive’ (what??) said I didn’t want the chips, asked for size and pricing of potato bake to take away, was shown tub and I said I’ll got those if the tub is filled, she filled it to 3/4 and put the lid on, I just paid for it and left at that point, was going to order a coffee but assumed I’d get a half filled mug so walked a couple of doors down to the next Cafe. 2 stars as potato bake was actually pretty good.

Great food and inexpensive. Perfect for the early start when disembarking the Spirit of Tasmania.

The service was friendly enough. The venue was ok and warm. BUT – DON’T HAVE THE POTATO CAKES whatever you do ( and probably the chips too). My friend and I immediately felt sick after having one each. They looked dried out and tasted kind of weird, like they had been cooked in inferior oil, maybe cottonseed oil gone rancid? My friend threw up outside and I’m glad that I only ate half of mine as I wasn’t quite as sick. I didn’t think much of the toasted cheese sandwich that I had prior to that either because it was too gooey and the bread wasn’t toasted enough. The chai tea was ok. We won’t be returning.
