We’ve brought the street inside recreating the impromptu feel of night markets from far off lands through a pleasingly haphazard collection of benches, booths and nooks. Here we serve a range of East Asian and South American inspired street foods. Along with a list of unreal cocktails, the hero of our list being our spicy margarita made with our house-infused chili tequila.
International street fare dished up in a chic locale with subway tiles & Asian poster art.

good staff. very delightful staff and the chef’s are great. I came on mother’s Day they had an event and I managed to order the pork Bao and some alcohol. We also had the shoe string fries and they were delicious but lessen the paprika next time. the side sauces are a good add and the location of this place makes sense. keep up the great hard work.

I went on a Thursday evening and it wasn’t too busy but I saw this place packed out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No wonder it’s popular, the food was delicious and the plates are certainly conducive to sharing. The serves were good. I ordered Bao buns with pork belly, prawn dumplings and Korean fried chicken bites. After having the bao buns and prawn dumplings I was full. I tried a couple of pieces of Korean chicken which was juicy and delicious but had to get a take away container for the rest of them. I had a wine but there was a nice assortment of cocktails listed on the menu and specials board.

I had my 31st birthday at Dagwood and everything from the cocktails, to the food, to the absolute bangers that were playing, to the most beautiful bar staff, was amazing. Everything was perfect and we will definitely all be visiting again!

My son celebrated his 21st birthday at Dagwood last Saturday night. The communication with staff was amazing since I first booked 2 weeks ago. On the night, all staff went above and beyond and constantly checked in with everyone, even though it was constantly busy. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The area they celebrated was perfect and I would highly recommend this venue. Thank you to everyone at Dagwood.

We were driving through Wollongong heading to another place for dinner when we saw the bright lights and colourful exterior and we decided to stop here instead. Prompt service friendly staff and delicious food we had the pork bao buns, steak tacos and the pork dumplings all were very nice but really enjoyed the dumplings my wife was worried the chilli oil was going to be to hot but it was very mild.

Went to bottomless brunch. Service was great, staff were really friendly and happy to serve. Dumplings were okay, but they only served one type the whole session. We had vego dumplings to at the start, even if they served them alongside the pork (I think?) ones if would be better.

We dined in and enjoyed a bottomless brunch at Dagwood of spicy margaritas and spicy fajitas that were both quite delicious. The service and staff were fantastic. As soon as we finished our drinks or fajitas there was another placed on our table ready to go. Very happy with our visit to Dagwood.

So I’m giving this place 4 stars despite a 3 star meal. I ordered sliders and chips. One of my slider was delicious and the other (a fried chicken one) was close to show leather. The flavours were good but not the chicken preparation. I will be going back to try the Dagwood.

Great place! The food was good, the cocktails were amazing and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Their cocktail list is very interesting and quite different from what you get anywhere else. We tried the “The count of Montenegro”, “Garden Fresh” and “Chipolt the old block” Cocktails. All of them tasted great. The later one is a smokey tasting one, so if prefer something fresh the first two ones might be more to your liking. Everything was fantastic. Will be back for sure. Great place. We love coming here pre theatre. The menu is great for its selection of sharing options. Dumplings are wonderful shared prawn and pork both delicious. Nice wine list as well. Great spot for relaxing and people watching. Staff so very friendly and professional always ready to look after you. Will certainly be back.
