My son and I had the best porterhouse steak we’ve had in ages. So so well cooked and a great cut of meat. Thanks soo much. We are here for a few days and we’ll look to come back again before we leave. Thank you folks and components to the chef!

Every time we come to Hervey Bay from Melbourne to stay at K’gari, we go to town for supplies and drop into Bay Central Tavern for a drink and a feed. We sit outside on the deck in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Its really a great place to chill and the sun never fails to shine.

Have been here a few times and I’ve unfortunately never once enjoyed a meal. Decided I would say yes to an outing that I was invited to recently and I was disappointed again. My chicken schnitzel and chips tasted like old oil. I will not be getting food from here ever again considering I’ve been a few times within the span of 20 years and each time there has been no improvement, often times it just tasted worse.

Paul that served my friends and i on sunday night was fantastic. Great handling of cutlery, plates and exc. He had wonderful manners and even when we wanted to give him a $20 tip and he rathered us leave a lovely review.
