2nd time coming to this place adter a great first experience. 5pm ordered a chicken among other things and the chicken was ridiculously dry. It was clear that it had been sitting there for a long time. Very disappointing that a place that specialises in chicken cant serve well cooked chicken.

Not good for the money. Customer waiting bench seat was so dirty and disgusting looking i couldn’t sit on it. 2 x cans of creamy soda and 1 small bottle of coke cost $10 Chicken was so dry I threw it out. It was horrible. Chips, banana fritter and pineapple fritter were good. Cost $45 for 3 people. I would not go there again even though it was my favourite place to eat back in the 90’s.

Asked for extra salt on the chips, didn’t get one granule. Chips were short cooked, soggy and borderline inedible. Having to wait an extra 45 seconds to cook chips properly won’t kill your customers but the undercooked food and putrid state of the shop might. Chicken tasted overbearingly like charcoal fumes, the kind that are not good. Potato salad was the most bland and pathetic excuse for shop quality food I’ve ever seen and the gravy, all be it nice in taste, was served in the bottom of the plastic bag because the lid was not fitted correctly. Been going to this shop for 20 years, has been on the slide for a while. If you guys don’t give a rats date about your customers health or food quality any more perhaps it’s time to buy a newsagents. I drive past 3 other chicken shops to get to your business, won’t be any more.

Lovely owners/operators. The pricing seems to be in the normal range, spent $85 to feed 8 people. Order was complete and they even added a piece of fried chicken. Chicken, chips and gravy were really nice.

Went here today to get some food but was immediately put off by the blow flys crawling all over the salad. Only response was so sorry with a bit of a shoo with the hand then asks me what would I like. What I would like is for you to find another profession that doesn’t deal with food I’m out of here

I was the person that noticed the flies in with the salads. I watched you remove one of the salads and while trying to decide what to buy I saw at least 5 more sitting on the salads so I certainly didn’t wait around.
