Stopped for drinks and lunch. Was nit much on offer for lunch as we came in at an awkward time, so we had cake instead. Three of us had different sweets and they were all very nice. Staff were friendly and polite. Would like to try their pies one day.

Alarm bells start to ring when you ask for a double shot and the young lady behind the machine asks the other assistant how to do a double shot, but the experienced one took over and made the coffee. Very dark chocolatey coffee, but the milk was way to hot, almost scalded. The sausage rolls were tasty but they were only warm. A shame some of the heat from the milk couldn’t have been transferred to the roll. We went on a Woolnorth Tour and sampled some of the bakery biscuits which were delicious.

Warm greetings, cosy tables, but best of all the steak with chilli pie! Super yummy – big chunks of melt in your mouth meat in a delicious gravy. Superb!
