We had a lunch reservation at our hotel’s restaurant where we’re staying, and upon arriving at the restaurant downstairs, we informed the staff at the bar about our lunch booking. The staff member told us to choose our seats and asked if we’d like to have a look at the menus, which felt unnecessary since we were obviously there to eat. We opted for menus, naturally, as we didn’t come to memorize the offerings.

My wife and I were there on a Sunday afternoon with Alex the only one on the bar. Service was outstanding. If only Australia’s hospitality industry was filled with more people like him. He made our afternoon and short holiday both memorable and chilled. Great service, great bloke.

Came here on Christmas Day wasn’t busy menu La Carte, 3 staff on, ordered The Salmon wasn’t cooked right through dose not go well with seaweed as the base. Also ordered the steak meal wanted it Med Rare came out Well done and only came with roasted cherry tomatoes as the salad??? I’m sure when the menu says Salad it’s suppose to have other vegetables include?? …. Tell me I’m I in the wrong as a customer ♀️

We went here for dinner as we were staying at the hotel. From the start the staff were all super friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There was 4 of us for dinner, we started with cocktails and beers all good. We ordered the chicken dish which was excellent. The salmon dish very tasty and also excellent but the standout dish was the gnocchi served with a delicious thick tomato and vegetables sauce. Yummo. We couldn’t fit desserts and left very contented.

Had ze best breakfast here – ordered a Breakfast hamper and it was delish! Bacon (ham off the bone) with warm camembert on sourdough, yummy granola with grated apple, almond croissant with a great coffee… sooo good. The restaurant is modern and chic. Staff are amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful – right by the water. Highly recommend A++.

Provided feedback directly however did not receive a response so reviewing. One star for friendly bar service. Over an hour wait for burgers and steak sandwiches that were cold, tasteless and some parts inedible. Horrible customer service experience by one staff member. Hard to get basic food and service wrong but if I was rating them on their ability to do that, it would be 5 star.
