One of our favourite breakfasts in Tazzy. The food was very well presented and it tasted as beautiful as it looked. Staff were very warm and friendly and the atmosphere just takes you to another space in time.

Oh, such a gorgeous, welcoming, and upscale country pub. I could have dined here every day for a week if I’d stayed in Evandale. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful pub. Tastefully decorated with old wooden furniture, stunning stained glass and antler decorations on the walls. It is definitely more restaurant quality than pub. Food was out of this world and friendly service to go with it. Our wine glasses were old fashioned crystal glass. That was a nice touch.

Relaxed atmosphere under large trees in this awesome beer garden. Had the Ploughman’s Platter with sourdough, cold meat, cheese and pickles and it was the best meal I’ve had during my entire stay in Tassie…. Great place for lunch.

We went in expecting a nice pub meal but turns out this is more a fine dining restaurant. The decor is beautiful inside. The menu is limited and the prices on the high side. Food was fairly good although the protions were small. We had the entree sourdough and olives which is recommended for 2 but is actually just two slices of bread and a couple of olives (tasty but not very much of it). My pork belly was a little fatty but flavours were good. The Porterhouse steak was ok but would have been nice if it came with some veges.
