Perfection! The toasted chicken, cheese & avocado roll was 10/10, crispy outside and soft in the centre. Fresh ingredients and reasonably priced. Also the best chips I’ve had in a long time!! Would definitely stop here again

Really wonderful stopover right in the middle of Woodford ! Woodford is a small town 40 kilometres from the Coast some would say hinterland of Sunshine Coast! Probarly my 6th or 7th time stopping over the last few year’s. Sometimes the Coffee is good, other times, well. The Pies are good but I like the Sandwiches, and never had anything but polite service.

Nice pit stop for bike ride. Good balance between restaurant and Cafe, good coffee, sandwiches drink and good choice. Pretty quick service buts get busy in bursts.

The staff member who served me this morning did this business a huge disservice with her manner and attitude. I paid for my pies with cash, giving the girl a note and the correct small change that would result in a note coming back to me for my change. The girl handed me coins back and not the correct change. When I questioned the amount I should have received, she said yes and nodded to the coins in my palm. I spelled out the maths for her with what I gave her and what the change should have been, to which she said “no that’s (indicating to the coins in my hand) what the till said I have to give you. I then questioned what amount she put into the till as payment, and she claimed she had put in the amount I had given her. Clearly, given the change wasn’t correct, she had not done so and just told me that she’d given me what the till said she had to. My issue isn’t with the small error she made with my change, it’s wondering that if she had entered the details correctly as she claimed, then there is a problem with the equipment – so how many other customers have been short-changed and to what amount? Also, the fact that this girl argued with me and told me I was incorrect because the machine said so was a poor display of customer service and, therefore, a poor reflection on this business. This morning’s purchase was a treat for us. Next time I have a little spare cash to treat us, I’m not sure I’d be spending it here.

Really enjoyed the meat pie I got from here, I find it different and it has more substance than most other pies. Had it with a yummy chokkie milk 🙂 The only downside is that it gets really busy really fast, and it might be taxing on the workers.

They had great pies. Originally went there specifically for lamb and rosemary (literally the only pie they didn’t make) however the other 2x pies we bought pepper steak and a curried pie were perfect. Their desserts were also pretty damn good too.

Right on the main road with plenty of parking . Yes , I read all reviews (good & bad) before deciding to stop & find out for myself . Sure there were tables with a few crumbs left but I just wiped off realizing they were very busy & just not enough time between customers to do everything. Service was very quick & when I pointed out some negative reviews to the seemingly interested young assistant she said she would pass on to the owner . My father in law had plain meat pie & Cappuccino & said both were great. My wife & I had the spinach & fetta sausage roll which was much bigger than normal sausage roll & very tasty . However I found mine didn’t hold together well & the filling oozed out of the pastry. Would have liked to try something sweet after but found the selection a bit ordinary. I suggest the owner takes a visit to nearby Blackbutt Bakery for some of best pastries in Australia.

I love this place, food is great and Woodford is a great town. We regularly call into CJ’s. We just had our order messed up, but they were very busy. Staff did apologise but that was it.
