Phone ordered takeaway. The burgers were just perfect good old fashioned lettuce tomato (even asked if we wanted beetroot). Ummmm yeah!! Potato scallops were fresh and crispy with just the right amount of salt. And…it was quick.

Worst chicken & gravy roll I’ve ever had in my life! Im not even exaggerating. It was really a gravy roll with some tiny pieces of chicken floating in it. The gravy wasn’t very good either. Definitely not worth 9 bucks.

Spent $39 for a dolphin pack, small gravy, chicken & potato bake and a drink. The fish was over cooked and we received 13 chips. Yes, I counted them. The potato bake & chicken meal was nothing special, which is to be expected as it was stored cold and reheated in the microwave on my arrival. Seafood stick and prawns were OK. I once loved Chickadee but the quality of food has become very poor, especially for the price. We won’t be returning.

I have always 100 % recommended this business. From when we use to live and all the family that still do. Since we moved away. When we come back this has always been my go to for roast chickens, and the bushman bread. However, my experience today was poor. I purchased 2 chickens. One was lighter in flesh than the other, but I let it go, as they were the last 2 on that tray, even though another tray was ready. I bought this at around 1.30pm to eat later for dinner. We found out later that night that one of the chickens was not fully cooked, it was pink. It was deemed not recommended to eat and was thrown in the bin. When I contacted the store I was told to take the chicken out of the bin and bring it back in to be checked. Really, the store was closed, the lady was rude. I said I’m not bringing back a dead uncooked chicken. However, here is the review. It’s not so much the chicken it was the rude abrupt, non trusting feeling, and comments from the person my compliant was escalate to. I will not be going back for that reason.
