Ordered. Way. Too. Much! Everything on the menu looked so good so had to order as much as my eyes could eat. Did a couple of tacos, fried chicken, and the corn. Tacos were the definite stand out for me especially the fish tacos which were crispy fried and delicious! Not normally big on eating corn but this was pretty good, had some “special” sauce on the plate with this so paired well. The fried chicken was ok, by this time I was extremely full already! This is a schnitzel style fried chicken, which also has that same “special” sauce. Sauce definitely helped as some of the chicken was slightly dry. Overall with the sauce it was bearable. This place also has a few tables outdoor for seating, however not much of a view right next to the road.

Food is absolutely amazing, can’t fault it at all. Regular customer – my only bit of constructive criticism is that all the food comes out at once. Dishes are listed as courses on the menu and should come out as courses. Tables are small so hard to fit all the food on the table and it feels a little like they’re trying to get you in and out in a hurry which isn’t great when you’re spending almost $200 on a meal and drinks for two. There were some other very noisy customer who were watching the women’s World Cup on their phone, not Chechos fault… but wasn’t great for the atmosphere with all the screaming. Otherwise, great experience, food is awesome and staff are friendly.

Very friendly service and atmosphere , great location and decorating. We tried corn ribs and the pork belly , pork belly was just deep fried served with a sauce bit bland , a little disappointed but corn ribs were nice to snack on had more flavour in my opinion. Tacos were amazing , good serving size and the flavours pair well with each meat like pork with pineapple very refreshing. Would come back.

Delicious Mexican food and service! We ordered the Guac chips and Patatas bravas for entree. For mains, we got the cauliflower tacos, pork tacos and chicken tacos. The tortillas were very soft. The servings are big. The Pacifico Lager is amazing as well. Overall, a very satisfying meal and fantastic service! Will definitely recommend to others and will revisit soon.

Delicious Mexican! Highly recommended to all amigos looking for a great restaurant in Penrith. Service, food & margaritas are great! We ordered cocktails, pork belly bites, potato bravas, fish & chicken tacos and churros. Omg the Caramel sauce is amazing! We loved everything we ordered and will definitely dine at Chechos when the next mex craving hits!

Great place and ambience. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Lots of cocktail options and Mexican dishes to choose from. The Popcorn Chicharron (pork belly) and Mezcal Halloumi is a must try. The staff were very friendly and polite.
