This little place at Haymarket just up from Central has a great range of Thai dishes. Very delicious. They have beer on the menu but don’t actually have beer, but for corkage of only $2.50 per person, you can bring your own. Which is a very good deal. They can cater for larger groups, so if you plan a bit of a party, come on down.

Decent meal. We had the boat noodle, dry black noodle and tom yum noodle soup. They all had way less noodles compared to other places that do the same thing (even in a large portion).

Cheap Thai restaurant with quick service! For all the noodle soups, they offer a small and large size, which is really convenient if you aren’t too hungry but still want a comforting bowl of noodle soup (and it starts as cheap as $8.9 a bowl!).

3.5 stars experience overall. Went to Charmhor at 4.00pm on a Sunday afternoon for a quick and light meal. We ordered the noodle all day special. Food was delicious and reasonable service.

If you like garlic skin in your beef boat noodle soup then you have come to the right place! Chefs don’t take too much pride in their work but are fairly quick to serve. Inside wasn’t busy for a Saturday night but the Thai music created a nice ambience. Price isn’t too bad and the food variety is average. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the Salmon salad was sweaty and tasted horrible. 2 stars only for the service. Cracked porcelain bowls showing quality of utensils being served lost some stars.

Really cheap place for Thai food with good portion sizes, you can choose between small and large. Tried the small pork soup noodle for $8.90 which was very flavourful, bit peppery and quite salty. The menu is quite extensive, would be down to try more!

I’ve decided to give this place a try after hearing good things about it on social media. Came here for lunch on Sunday and service was friendly and fast. Tried their duck Penang curry from the lunch special menu today. It was tasty but unfortunately, the serving was on the smaller side. The curry were served on the same plate of the rice (which I was not expecting) and you get larger helping of rice.

The khao kha moo (pork with rice) was excellent here. Top notch! The dry bamee deep fried won ton was also good, as were the grilled pork balls which I’d recommend as a side. However the boat noodle soup was a disappointment. There are places that serve better in the Sydney CBD. Also service here is a bit slow but that might just be because they’re relatively new and are experiencing teething pains. Still would recommend.

I’ve been there around 5-6 times. It was good for a few first visit but the last 2 times was not really good. I can say it was kinda bad experiences.
