Flake was so thin and yet was like leather, dim sums were clearly old stock and tasted horrible and the crab/fish sticks were still ice cold in the middle.

Well run happy staff pleasant and polite we had grilled fish (wow) beautifully crumb and cooked to perfection potato cakes were just as nice big golden and crunchy.Captain con runs a great ship..well great shop..very clean one of the best of seen and been to..totally recommended and cant wait to go back..well done..

Extremely happy with the food here. I’ve just moved to the area and ordered from here a few times for convenience while moving. I am so impressed with how good the food is here! I was worried the first time was a fluke, but it’s been consistent. Usually we avoid ordering fish & chips because it’s too oily and leaves us feeling really sick afterwards however the food here is not oily at all and we haven’t been left feeling sick! The chips are nicely cooked and generously salted (I love my salt), the fish was a nice flavour and cooked well. Not at all dry. The potato cakes are amazing!!! I don’t know how they nail that one, but they do! And the dim sims nice and golden.

Always great service, staff are nice and attentive – especially Con (at least I think it is Con). Chips were great – cooked well exactly how I like them, Fish too was nice – butterfish was stupidly soft. only one issue – my chicken croquette was bit overcooked, but in saying that I still ate the inside and is only reason for 4 stars not 5. I will come back/always come back – a great food place
