Book into this fantastic restaurant. Our table had the 2 gnocchi’s, kids margarita pizza and the meatballs and absolutely delicious. The staff were 5 star and really happy to be at work. Cannot wait to come back to Hobart and eat here again. We also had the cheesy garlic pizza.

First spot when we got to Hobart. After we checked in around 9am, we went on a hunt to a place that was open to get something to eat. Perfect spot!! Felt really welcome and it was not a problem at all to try to get a table and service even being so late.

Lovely atmosphere for a family dinner. Exemplary service, quality ingredients for meals and drinks with excellent gluten free choices that didn’t make us feel like a hassle. Our waitress replaced empty water without prompting which was amazing and organised our starters and mains to come out in a staggered, timely manner. Very good understanding and attentiveness of service, you definitely impressed us and we recommend Capital as a must-visit location in Hobart.

I dined here last week with my wife and two boys and couldn’t fault a thing. From the second we walked in, to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome, and the service from everyone was top notch! Everything we ordered was delicious, and generous portions, and will definitely be coming back again soon!

We tried many restaurant on our Hobart getaway and didn’t have that wow experience. However, we were told to give Capital and that it would change our view on Hobart. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the service. The restaurant has a modern and elegant decor, and the menu offers a variety of dishes that are beautifully presented. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and they made sure that our dining experience was enjoyable – we loved it so much on Monday night that we came in for dinner for a second time tonight. A big shout out to Simon who gave us the superstar treatment. We also particularly enjoyed the pasta dishes, which were fresh and perfectly cooked. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Hobart.

Pleasant atmosphere and great service. Staff were very quick and genuine. Food was quite good also, but quite expensive given the portion sizes. Overall recommended for a dinner in Hobart.
