We used to come to Amaretto every week for coffee and a meal. Due to whatever circumstances we haven’t been here for many years but decided to for old times sake. Nothing has changed in the 28 years. I ordered the calamari grilled and it was probably the worst lunch I have had in a while. Not sure what was stuck to the bottom of the squid but it almost looked like it was grilled too long in the pan and there was stuff stuck to the bottom of it. Then the inside of the squid seemed to have not been cleaned out properly. Wedges were horrible. The potato looked like it was a month old. The wife ordered the toasted sandwich which was cheaper and better although there was so much black burnt soot on it, we had to scrape it off. I don’t think I will be coming back for awhile, if ever.

Walking in, and you can instantly see and feel a clean, friendly atmosphere. Then, when the meals come out, you can smell and taste the effort that’s gone into each dish. Ticks all the senses boxes. Well done, Caffe Amaretto.

My sister and I decided to stop for a coffee, after shopping for wedding flowers and we were greeted by the most beautiful lady, who was dressed for the kitchen! She was absolutely gorgeous, and so warm and helped us get a table. Our service was exceptional, and very polite and professional. Will definitely be headed back there again and our coffees were perfect… just like in Europe and Italy. ⭐️

The pesto pizza was actually quite good. This place is worth the price also worth giving it a try if you haven’t been here yet

Once upon a time this was a great place to eat. Today Calamari barely edible, pizza topping ( nicely presented) but the base so hard that you need to visit dentist the following day. Food took over an hour to arrive and was cold when served. Obviously made much earlier but left God knows where to cool completely. At the end I was charged the surcharge. What for I wonder?

We had coffee and apple pie in the morning and after an appointment over the road went back for lunch. Chicken Caesar salad was excellent and Italian sausage was judged superb by my Italian Wife. Coffees are good as well and service typically Italian – friendly. Big public car park opposite as restaurant is on a busy junction. Large restaurant with tables outside as well.

I have never been offended by Garlic Bread before. It was disgusting. Toasted bread, barely enough butter to get to the sides and raw crushed garlic slapped on top. My mouth was left burning. No care or finesse.
