The atmosphere was good. The restaurant was nicely decorated. The view was very nice, out looking to Darling Harbor. Customer service was excellent. However, was quite disappointed in the food, is kind of cold. We ordered squid ink risotto and grilled Tuna as main, both dishes came in cold.

We celebrated a wedding anniversary at Cafe del Mar on Saturday night for 15 people and we had an amazing time! Wonderful food, view and venue… the staff are what makes this restaurant exceptional. Everyone from the wait staff to the DJ were awesome. Shout out to Emilio who truly went above and beyond for our group – he exemplifies the highest standard in customer service. April also took very good care of us. We had a marvellous time and we will be back!

Service was good but food a bit let down. The oyster was so so (the last piece I had wasn’t that fresh). The snapper ceviche was confusing. Honestly, I wasn’t sure about the taste. For this dish, perhaps simple is better. The prawn cocktail wasn’t that bad. The tuna steak was massive portion, very generous. It tasted better than the beef steak. The steak was quite bland. Overall, I’d give the food 3.5 stars. For service was 4.5 stars. I had a cocktail lychee martini. It was quite nice, 4 stars. Price is standard upmarket restaurant.

I recommend the bottomless lunch. The food is great. Although the portion sizes are not enough for the guys, it’s definitely enough for the ladies. Bottomless drinks were great. There are a lot of good options to choose from. Service was fantastic. The staff were quick and helpful.
