We visited in the afternoon Saturday just before dinner time. How we knew was the music started playing just as we almost finished our meal and cocktails. Food was nicely flavoured though small portioned. Purchased enchilada with chips & can drink, southern fried wings, pork ribs with chips and nachos on chips. We greatly appreciate the speedy service with a smile. Also enjoyed the $9 cocktails all day!!! Sorry forgot to take photos of food as hungry. Next time we want to try the spicy wings when we return to the Gong. Thank you for a nice and quick experience.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but this was appalling. We reserved a table on a Saturday night for my daughters birthday. It took a while for anyone to greet and seat us, but the problems really began when we went to order (no table service here anymore!). A lady came out from the kitchen with her food prep gloves still on, told us to wait, and then eventually was ready to take our order. She then asked if we wanted drinks (the place is licensed) and said she’d have to get someone else.

Just received a delivery order made on Uber eats. The meal we received was delivered quickly and efficiently after pickup, which I tracked on the Uber APP from pick up to delivery. The driver had no extra stops on the way straight from the restaurant to our door. So what I’m about to say I had nothing to do with Uber’s delivery of this product.

Came here expecting a good Mexican style food. Was disappointed. The cocktails are good. We ordered 12 hour ribs. The ribs were definitely not juicy or even tasty. The. Chips was good. Ribs were Very bland and semi dry. The wings were also dry. Enchiladas was just okay. Maybe I’ll go back some other time and see if the food is better.

Food was great and excellent service. They have the best happy hour and good deals all the time. Food is tex mex style and is really good.

They had a sink to wash your hands. Essential for the ribs, but they had no soap. When I asked about soap, they said it was for staff only. It was said in a contemptuous tone. Dreadful customer service. I felt totally disrespected. Food was ok. Ribs were tender but surprisingly tasteless. Chicken salad was ok. Not particularly cheap but I guess you are paying for atmosphere to watch the soccer. Won’t be going back there again. They take their customers for granted.

Owner grossly understaffed this venue. Waiter was fine but the circumstances with him being the only worker there meant that we were served our drinks around an hour after we ordered it (much after our food). We had already finished all of our food and still hadn’t been served our pina ladas yet despite us reminding him. 🙁 food was okay though and decent value with the Tuesday deal.
