Gorgeous staff and deeelicious banh mi makes this place a wonderful addition to the new Nicholas Street precinct in Ipswich. The spring rolls and rice paper rolls were filling and tasty. We’ll be back.

I tried banh mi and rice paper rolls on my first visit today. Liked the banh mi much better, but both were made from fresh ingredients, which is what you expect in Vietnamese cuisine. Definitely will go back for more yummy banh mi and try other menu items.

Beef Pho was bland with very little flavour in the broth, no chilli and few herbs. Wife had the Bahn mi with she said was pretty good but far from Authentic and would rather drive to Darra.

We stopped in for Takeaways at this new place in Ipswich full of hope. Hubby had Beef Pho and I had Vietnamese salad with lemongrass pork. Hubby said stock in soup was nice but overall dish a bit sweet, with very little chilli or fresh herbs. My salad was 3/4 bowl of rice vermicilli noodles, some shredded lettuce, carrot and cucumber. The Special soy dressing was mild and sweet. There were no fresh Vietnamese herbs, sliced shallots, onions, chillies or zestiness in the dressing. Please add some of the great Vietnamese fresh flavours to your food. You won’t last if you don’t. Inala is not far away.
