Located in the heart of Horsham, Victoria, it is a corner pub. It has modern settings, and is very pleasant to have a meal in. We had lunch there. It was a weekday and we stopped late, so there were not many people there. It seems a popular meeting place with friends, and there were many mothers there with prams. The steak was good, bread and soup also yummy. Steak was cooked exactly as requested. The meals are a good size with mashed potatoes made from real potatoes. There was also a large variety of Australian beer on tap. When we finished lunch, we noticed many of the tables had reserved signs on them already – with names, the time booked and the number of people coming. It must be very popular with the locals. As you enter the pub, there is also a large picture of the pub and who the previous owners were together with the dates they owned the pub. There is a bit of history to the pub, and the info is worth reading. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, a very good Aussie pub.

Busy pub but meals still came out at a decent time. Got pork belly and it was lovely! It’s quite a big serve and would need a steak knife next time but first meal here was nice.

Just dropped in for a cheeky beer. Friendly staff and the place was clean. Beer was super cold, it just hit the spot.

Service was most excellent. The meals were huge, fresh and delicious. So tasty. I had the crumbed sausages and was not disappointed. Vegetarian options as well. My family all had fabulous meals too. Thank you for the speedy friendly service and a haven during our travels. See you next time we pass through Exchange.

The dining room and Cafe stunk so badly of mildew old water smell, we had to eat outside yesterday 23/8/23 in the cold. This is not the first time either. It seems like they have tried to mask the smell, but it did not work. Won’t be back.

Started stopping for lunches at Exchange Hotel in Horsham to break up trips to and from Adelaide to Melbourne. What a lucky decision. Food is excellent, options are plentiful, atmosphere relaxed and wait staff very accommodating. They don’t treat you like you only matter if you’re a local but appreciate folks on road trips. Prices are reasonable too. Good choice.

Terrible vegan meal. The fettuccine pasta was served in the smallest soup bowl. It was less than a standard sized child’s meal. And so expensive for a bit of pasta and tomato sauce.
