Given how busy the place is I had high expectations. The chips were generously seasoned with chicken salt. Unfortunately the charcoal chicken was really dry. Most people seem to get the fried chicken so I may give that a try next time.

Food was delicious. It took about 5 minutes to be greeted at the counter, the manager was standing at their computer typing, eating and drinking. Kitchen person was playing on their phone. I didn’t once see anyone was their hands or wear gloves. That was a little concerning. Compared to my last visit which was 5 star not sure I’ll be back.

Great food,terrible customer service. Menu states burgers, wraps or pitas at the top of it when requested for a wrap and mentioned that last time i got a burger when i requested a wrap the boss on shift started to verbally attack me be ‘informing’ me that the Menu item is a ‘burger’ and that is why I got the wrong order even tho the menu stipulates the 3 options at the top. Management thought that forcefully informing me of what there missprinted menu is would keep me as a customer. Burgers wraps and pitas can all be made on each other or so says my chef apprenticeship.

Went in with my flatmate who asked for a chicken royal in a wrap. Sounds feasible because the menu states you have 3 choices burgers,pitas and wraps. Side manager/owner pipes up no it’s a burger only the menu is misprinted. I then said if we pay $5 extra is it a problem? He continued to berate us at which point I had to pull my chef card out and say mate we offered extra why won’t you adapt at which point he just laughed in our faces so we walked out. The poor staff member looked embarrassed. DO NOT RECOMMEND

We are a family of 4 with myself and my daughter being Coeliac. The food at Bird Royale was restaurant quality. Better than the resort we have been staying at. So many Gluten Free options although not overly advertised on the menu. The salads, vege bakes and fries were lovely and many options in Gluten free. The charcoal chicken and fried chicken all Gluten free. Taking the family back tomorrow. Closes at 6pm so get in early or go for lunch.

i have to leave a review. possibly the best fried chicken burger i’ve ever had and i’ve had a lot! chicken burger is my standard go to and this was absolutely delicious. i wanted a second one. possibly a touch too salty by the end. but damn i am coming back.
