It was a last-minute dinner plan for us after having had a day trip to Bowral. To sum up our experience at Ethos, it was a cosy, friendly and warm environment interlaced with yummy food. We could tell that the owners and workers prioritise customer service. Meeting Michael was such an experience on its own, he was a gem in making us feel so welcomed. He even let us relax by the fireplace and gave us some lovely home-made cookies for our drive home on a chilly night. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a warm, friendly environment to dine in 🙂

I was at Ethos with some friends and as soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcome by Michael who was very attentive and entertaining. What a character, he made everyone feel like they were his personal guests. After an amazing meal we sat in the lounge by the fire and chatted with other diners.

We recently stayed at Links House and booked Ethos Restaurant for dinner. We had an amazing experience and I can’t recommend it more highly. The dining room is small and cosy and the food truly exceptional. The absolute stand-out element, which I note others have commented on, was the service. Both Michael and Ross took great care of us. I had never met a waiter as warm, genuine and natural as Michael before and his hospitality was second to none. I observed the way he connected with everyone in the restaurant and made them feel included and special. There was such a great vibe with all the diners being at ease and naturally conversing with everyone and I observed that as people walked away they, along with my husband I, felt as if their spirits had been lifted by the whole experience! There were also a couple of tables of people that keep coming back which is always a great sign and we certainly intend to be back too! Thanks Links House and Ethos Restaurant for a memorable weekend.

Delicious Gnocchi and mushroom soup and even the dessert was delicious that my 10 year old son who does not like ginger finished the date and ginger pudding by himself, Kudos to the chef and Megan and Michael were outstanding…….

Pleasantly surprised by this gem which was the highlight of our traipse around the Southern Highlands. Generous portions of very tasty food – the pasta entree could have been a main at another restaurant! – although I found the skin of the salmon and the mash to be oversalted for my liking.
