Cozy new Japanese eatery in Vic Park ticks all the boxes!!!!! The food was so fresh, delicious and good portion sizes. I like that you can get teishoku meals which aren’t that common here but I love!!!! Very juicy meats well cooked The staff are very sweet and friendly and I love the look of the place very homely and comfortable. Thank you!!

Had lunch at this newly opened Japanese restaurant in Victoria Park, apparently open by Brown Spoon’s owner. Service was good and fast, food were fresh and great.

This is a neat little place that has some good quality Japanese food. Wasn’t really expecting too much if i’m honest but was very pleasantly surprised by the food here. The portions are very reasonable for the price, and the food is just done well. It’s probably not the most creative in a sense but if you’re looking for solid Japanese food staples then this is a great place to try out. They have some good bento sets available that come with a variety of tasteful condiments.

Nice new Japanese restaurant in Vic park. The atmosphere was very cosy and the service was great, and while all the food we ordered was quite good (especially the tempura udon which was prefect for a cold winters night), I was slightly disappointed with the pork katsu which seems to be their signature dish – ours was overcooked and not so juicy.

We tried this new Japanese restaurant in Victoria Park and they impressed us. You have to try the Ganso Hire Katsu (Pork Tenderloin Katsu) was so good – moist and tender. My Teriyaki Salmon Bentori Set comes with rice, miso soup, green salad, potato salad and sushi of the day. Great portion and delicious. Ordered Chicken Yaki Soba for kids, very tasty too. Food came out quickly, great service too. We’ll come back for sure and recommend this place to our friends.

Went on Sunday lunch when it was very busy. Food came out fast. Service was very good. Staff very observant (provided additional plates) loved everything but found the miso eggplant to sickly sweet for our taste.

Highly recommended! We want to try everything on the menu, and over ordered, we are so full. I think we just have to come back again and again. We went there at lunch time, super friendly staff, and food came out very quick. Oh god, Umagi Don is huge 😀 so yummy!

An intimate cosy Japanese restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Has a great atmosphere for a small casual catch up. Food was good , not amazing, enough for a satisfying meal. The only downside is probably the price for the Teishoku. It was overall a good experience as it is a meal with many different compartments. The deep fried pork was a good choice.
