I hated it. The worst meal ever. Should have known never to trust another Benny’s franchise. smelt like someone had/prepared the meals fresh from having or during a cigarette I know it’s an American restaurant but it gives a whole new meaning to the quote from the movie Forest Gump “Lieutenant dan tastes like cigarettes”most awful meal ever and have been left feeling violently sick. If I end up in the emergency department this place will have the health inspectors after them. Not worth the money spent. Don’t bother with this place.

Great new burger place in Mount Barker. Had the double beef with added lettuce and mayo, chicken tenders and my wife had the Aussie burger. All were very tasty. Nice that burgers come with chips. Recommended.

I love the brisket here. It’s amazing. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried so far. Cheeseburger, poutine, hot dog, onion rings, wraps, I’ve tried a couple of the burgers but can’t remember their specific names. Chips come included with a lot (but not all) menu items.

Unfortunately it was the service that let this place down. Whilst the foreigner behind the counter was nice, and trying to be helpful with his very limited English. He said he could not serve me a beer from the tap as he didn’t know how to use it, so I went around the counter and showed him, now he just needs the RSA to serve it. Only reason for low score on atmosphere is because we were 3 out of 5 customers which made it very empty.

The food here was pretty good. I had a vege burger which was great but it was overloaded with sauce. I’ve heard they are meant to be sloppy but I’m not personally a fan of sloppy burgers. Besides that it taste pretty good and atleast they had vego/vegan options! The kids nuggets and chips serving size was huge and the burger portions were pretty good. Kids got the milkshakes which were pretty tasty too. The service was pretty good but our family was the only other group there which seemed weird for a Saturday night. I would imagine the atmosphere would be better if there were more people but I don’t think the facilities could handle more than a few customers at the same time. They were pretty dirty and didn’t look like they had been cleaned recently. That was probably the only downside.
