The owners and managing staff have done an excellent job at running this deli. The food is always fresh, milk, bread and drinks full on stock and always fresh. Perfectly made coffee’s too. Smokes and newspaper on the go too. All at reasonably low prices. The staff are always approachable and friendly. A very welcoming environment and store. Would recommend to anyone any day.

Overall good service but communication with one woman in particular is difficult. For example, this afternoon I asked for a carton of a specific brand of smokes. She said “oh no, that I cannot do”! I asked “why?” To which she said “I don’t have them in a carton” I then said “just give me 4 packs please”. Again she said “No I cannot, 4 packs is not a carton.” “A carton is this big” as she indicated with her hands wide apart ( wow!) So I said “just give me 4 packs PLEASE” before I go somewhere else seriously. It’s not the first time I’ve had a discussion like that with her. It would be Kinda funny when I’m not in a hurry, with several people waiting behind me.

It is a pleasure to go into this store. The place is clean, stock is always being replaced, the staff are fabulous no matter what time you arrive. I am so glad I live close. They are very responsive to customer’s requests and are always experimenting with different food to entice our palates and seeking feedback . What more could you ask for a small business?

Had lunch from them today. Grabbed a ham and salad roll. Staff confessed it was made yesterday and gave me a discount. Integrity like that is great they could have not said anything and sold it full price.
